    The Spider-Man movies weren't perfect, but the reboot deviates from everything I consider Spider-Man to be. Tobey was a relatable hero, Dunst provided a more realistic portrayal than I believe people give her credit for, and the films just had this amazing passion behind them (especially from a director who loved
     the character). People just worked so hard on these films that I just feel saddened by the fact that such hate has fallen on them. They'll never do better than they did these films.

    Honestly though, Spiderman
     2 was the only film from the old Sam Raimi Spidey films that I at least semi-enjoyed. but the new Amazing Spiderman looks better.
